Engaged KU Community Check Box

The Engaged KU Community Check Box (CCB) is an evaluation system for documenting and reporting community engagement activities across the university. The system supports assessment of how engagement aligns with Jayhawks Rising priorities and the Carnegie Community Engagement Framework.

Through the Engaged KU CCB, the Office of Community Impact is building shared infrastructure for ongoing documenting community engagement. Trained documenters will enter activities into the system to raise the profile of engagement work across campus and highlight opportunities for improvement and collaboration. Over time, documentation will help tell a broader story about the impact of KU’s institutional commitment to community engagement.

The Community Check Box Evaluation System was developed by the Center for Community Health and Development. To learn more about the CCB and access documentation support, visit Community Check Box (CCB) Help page.
